All his paintings are signed, 100% hand painted, original artwork direct from the artist. The media he uses is quality, acrylic paint on premium cotton duct stretched canvas or canvas boards. John’s original artwork is  either framed or Gallery wrapped: This is a method of stretching an artist’s canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides of the stretcher bar and is secured to the back of the wooden frame. The frames are 1.5 “thick. The paintings continue on to the edge of the canvas and can therefore be displayed without a frame. John finishes his paintings by applying a permanent satin varnish to the painting to protect it and give it a nice satin finish.

John is a self-taught artist specializing in landscape, cityscape, geometric design and still life paintings. His original artwork paintings are great gifts for family and friends because they are one of a kind.

Through his travels throughout the United States,  John has become aware of the beautiful landscapes and cityscapes that surround us. The beauty of these areas inspires him to paint. Most of his paintings are based on photographs that he has taken of areas and places he has visited.
