Geometric Abstract Contemporary Painting.

An interesting and unusual one-of-a-kind painting is sure to pique interest among art lovers.

This type of paintings are mainly defined by the color in the paintings and the interaction of colors: the way the colors playoff each other. For example, orange compliments  blue, or greens and yellows work well with the blues and oranges. John’s use of  shapes and angels is interesting. They are all connected either in, through or around as if looking for somewhere to go.

The text below is standard for all or most of my pain

Great hard edge, bright contemporary abstract painting is sure to look good anywhere.

Materials:  Quality acrylic paint, stretched canvass, black matte frame, gesso, assorted gel mediums, hanging hardware, soft gel Gloss, and Satin Varnish

The painting includes a black matte frame and hanging hardware ready for you to display

Process: It takes John many hours to produce a quality painting. The first task is to prime the canvas and make a rough sketch on the canvass. The next step is to decide what the dominant colors and tones are and to loosely paint these areas, or block them in.

He will spend A considerable amount of time on the next step, which is working on refining the shapes and colors. Lastly, more details, tones, and highlights are added in.

The rich vivid colors in this painting are achieved by laying down several coats of custom blended paint.

Two coats of an acrylic medium to seal the painting are applied after a 24-hour period. Finally, two coats of satin varnish are added in for protection and to produce a nice soft low luster sheen.

John paint’s because he loves it.  He enjoys expressing and sharing what he sees in the scenes that he creates and paints.
